Composting at home is an easy way to reduce your waste and impact on the planet, and also create nutrient rich food for your soil and garden plants. Whether you have outdoor space or not, composting at home is easy and possible for all. In this presentation, Charlotte Canner will discuss what compost is, why it is important, and how to do in a way that works for you.

About the Presenter:
Charlotte Canner is a lifelong composter with 10 years of experience teaching backyard composting in urban and suburban environments. She lives in Pawcatuck and works full time as the Recycling Coordinator for the towns of South Kingstown and Narragansett. In previous roles in California, she taught sustainable gardening practices and worked on a state-funded grant that supported community compost sites. She operates a "micro-scale" community compost site out of her own backyard. Her website: www.earth-ally.com
