We have a compost workshop happening next month at the Fiordland Community Garden on Mokoroa St on the 20th of June 1-3pm.
The last waste audit in Southland found almost 50% of waste in peoples red bins was compostable or green waste.
We also will have 240 litre compost bins available for $15 each this includes a rat proofing base.
Come along to this free workshop to learn how to convert food and organic waste into nutrient rich compost for gardens.
