A rind is a terrible thing to waste and Compost 101 is a workshop led by Ogier Gardens Coordinator designed to avoid just that. Attendees will learn how the Gardens operates their composting program recycling food scraps from the Osprey Café as well as how to set up and maintain their own home-composting system. Home composting is an opportunity to recycle kitchen scraps and yard waste, save money, start saving the planet and make delicious, sustainable and healthy compost for your home garden! This workshop is sponsored by the Recreation and Wellness office and is held at the Ogier Gardens; located on the north side of campus, north of lot 18 and the Intramural Fields. If you have questions about the location of the workshop or parking, please email [email protected] or stop by the Recreation and Wellness office located in the Student Wellness Complex. Students, faculty, staff and community members are encouraged to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!
