Compassionate Gateshead is exploring how employers in Gateshead can be better supported to help employees returning to work after bereavement or during periods of (caring for someone with) a terminal illness.

This meeting will gather a small number of interested people from different contexts to discuss what works well, what needs to be improved and how Compassionate Gateshead could help.

We will outline the feedback from a recent survey on this issue and discuss how we might be able to work together to improve things for employees and employers operating or working in Gateshead. This will inform Compassionate Gateshead's plans to respond to some of the issues raised.
