Many people struggle with self-criticism, shame, and perfectionism, often leading to chronic stress and harsh coping mechanisms. Using my extensive training and personal journey, I am passionate about sharing the power of self-compassion as a way to improve both mental and physical well-being.
What to Expect:
Understanding Stress: I will guide you through the basic neurophysiology of chronic stress, offering insights into how living in an anxious and harsh way can affect your mind and body. This “sciencey bit” will help you understand your experiences through a compassionate lens.
Setting Intentions & Visualisation: You’ll be guided through some intention setting and imagery work, tools that will help you connect with your inner self.
Breathing & Reflection: You’ll learn breathing techniques to calm your mind, paired with self-reflection exercises to deepen your self-awareness.
Heart-Opening Yoga: The session will culminate in a releasing, nourishing, and heart-opening yoga sequence, designed to integrate the psychological insights with physical movement, leaving you feeling centered and at peace.
Building Compassion: Throughout the session, you’ll explore how developing compassion for yourself can positively impact your health and those around you.
Who Should Attend: This workshop is ideal for anyone looking to break free from patterns of self-criticism and stress, and who wants to cultivate a more compassionate and caring relationship with themselves and others.
No prior experience in yoga or psychology is necessary—just an open heart and a willingness to explore.
