“The idea for Miruna Radovici's latest solo exhibition sparked, in part, from those memorabilia -trinkets, photographs and items left to the artist by her grandmother – „an archivist”, as her granddaughter calls her. These unintentionally sought for objects, apparently meaningless, conveyed within them both the significance of loss - an absence, and a sense of remembrance and embrace, which connects to the larger of human experience. They formed a starting point to create new ceramic sculptures, which together with paintings and installations, are presented in the exhibition.
The contours of bodies, fragments of nature, thoughts and feelings drip into each other, as are paintings and ceramics co-existing to form a whole. Faced with a constant duality, ambiguous anthropomorphized characters serve as companions, or observants, reflecting the complexities of a world where the fragility of life is too often overshadowed by exploitation. Moving increasingly from individual to collective inquiries, her new body of work gently transitions through existential dilemmas, processes of decay and transformation.” - Cristina Bută

„Ideea celei mai recente expoziții personale a Mirunei Radovici a luat naștere, parțial, din acele memorabiliae – nimicuri, fotografii și obiecte lăsate artistei de bunica sa – „o arhivară”, așa cum o numește nepoata ei. Aceste obiecte, aparent lipsite de semnificație, dar descoperite cu o intenție involuntară, conțin în ele atât sensul pierderii – o absență, cât și un sentiment de amintire și îmbrățișare, care se leagă de experiența umană în ansamblu. Ele au constituit un punct de plecare pentru crearea unor noi sculpturi ceramice, care, alături de picturi și instalații, sunt prezentate în expoziție.
Contururile corpurilor, fragmentele de natură, gândurile și sentimentele se preling unele în altele, așa cum picturile și ceramica coexistă pentru a forma un întreg. Confruntați cu o dualitate constantă, personaje antropomorfizate și ambigue servesc drept companioni sau observatori, reflectând complexitățile unei lumi în care fragilitatea vieții este prea des umbrită de exploatare. Trecând din ce în ce mai mult de la întrebări individuale la interogări colective, noul său corpus de lucrări navighează delicat prin dileme existențiale, procese de degradare și transformare.” – Cristina Bută
