Join us for a night out to learn about Companion Planting! 🌻 Spring/Summer Garden Lab Lineup
These four new labs complement our Winter/Spring sessions on Winter Sowing, Seed Germination, Harvesting for Food vs. Seed, and Companion Planting.
The Angola Seed Exchange Garden Lab is a hands-on, community learning series where growers of all ages come together to build practical gardening and seed-saving skills. Each session is interactive, welcoming, and rooted in the belief that shared knowledge strengthens our local food resilience.
And this year, we’re expanding our Garden Lab offerings — and inviting YOU to be part of it.
🌿 What Is a Garden Lab?
A Garden Lab is an interactive, learn‑by‑doing session that helps community members explore gardening concepts in a practical, engaging way. From soil to seed to harvest, Garden Labs make gardening accessible, confidence‑building, and fun.
🌼 What Is an Angola Seed Exchange Master Educator?
An Angola Seed Exchange Master Educator is a community teacher who shares their gardening experience in a clear, supportive, and empowering way. Master Educators help neighbors learn how to grow food, save seeds, preserve local plant genetics, and build a stronger, more resilient community.
Master Educators:
- Teach a selected gardening topic
- Share practical tips and lived experience
- Encourage seed stewardship
- Help participants feel welcomed, capable, and supported
Your knowledge and passion are what make this program meaningful. Your leadership truly gives back to the community.
