On Sunday the 14th of September at Wingham town hall Knuckle Up Boxing are running a "competitive sparring" day, which we will run like a pre combat sports fight night. Weigh in will be at 10 to 1030 match ups done between 1030 and 11 first fight at 11am and hopefully have everyone on their way home by 3pm.
Because this is just a sparring day, it will be open to ABL and ABA, also professional boxers and other combat sports.
We are asking that gyms that are wanting to come and compete nominate that someone that would be willing to act as a referee or judge throughout the day.
It will be completely free for competitors and for spectators, although we are looking at a way to try and bring back ring showers as a way to cover gyms travelling expenses. We'll have a sausage sizzle going.
Basically wanting to put on a day of competitive boxing where it's possible to take their family to watch their children compete without having to fork out a week's wage to sit in the crowd.
