ASA Softball Family!
As we begin to dust off the winter, it’s time to plan for summer, and we need your help!
The Field Maintenance Committee of the Anchorage Sports Softball Council will be walking the Albrecht, Cartee and Russian Jack fields on April 5th to evaluate for repairs and improvements to the facilities.
We will have community involvement days at the fields on April 12th and 13th.
April 12th will be dedicated to completing repairs to the complex including repairing or replacing the wooden bleachers. This will include sanding the bleachers down, sealing the wood, and if there is debris or trash on fields or in the complex, we will be cleaning this up as well. We will meet at the fields at 11am to get started.
April 13th we will be at the Cartee complex doing field clean ups which will include rock walks of Cartee 5 & 6 and Russian Jack 1 & 2, beginning at 11am.
Supplies needed to complete the job:
Positive attitude
BYOE - bring your own energy drink (of choice)
Electric sanders and painting supplies if you can spare them
Extension cords
