Community Vision Sessions: Session 4 | Creating Great Places
About this Event
Creating Great Places
Great communities are remembered for the places where people gather, connect, and create lasting memories.
Building upon the vision, neighborhood priorities, and economic opportunities identified throughout the Community Vision Series, this final workshop focuses on the parks, public spaces, arts, culture, history, recreation, and placemaking elements that bring a community to life.
Through visual examples and guided discussions, participants will explore how thoughtful public spaces and cultural assets can strengthen community identity, improve quality of life, and create destinations that people are proud to visit and call home.
Together, we'll explore questions like:
• What gathering spaces are missing?
• How should parks and public spaces serve the community?
• How can arts, history, and culture shape West Bartlesville's identity?
• What experiences would encourage people to visit and stay?
• What lasting legacy should today's vision create?
The ideas developed during this session will help establish the placemaking priorities that support the long-term vision for West Bartlesville and conclude the Community Vision Series.
Whether you attended one session or all four, your contributions have helped shape this shared vision for the future.
