"Branch Manager" Olive is leading monthly Community Trail Clearing Days here at Skeetawk!We must whack down all the fireweed and other plants that grow up on the ski trails so that we don’t need as deep of a base of snow in order to start skiing in winter! Trail days are from 10am til 3pm on marked days.
For every day of work volunteers receive a Skeetawk Day Pass!
Children/teens under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Wear what you'd wear when dealing with brush - bring work gloves!
Volunteers are welcome to bring their own tools to be used under approval of Skeetawk staff, though most work is dragging cut brush and trees into piles.
