Join us at Carnton on Thursday, July 11 as we re-launch our Community Talks Lecture Series. The first installment will be: The 160th Anniversary of the Battle of Franklin and Why the American Civil War Still Matters-
We are just a few months away from the 160th Anniversary of the Battles of Spring Hill and Franklin. Each year, we gather to remember the epic struggle that unfolded in Middle Tennessee in the waning days of the American Civil War. What did those events mean then, and why are they still so important to us now?
Doors open at 5:30PM and the presentation will begin at 6:00PM. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
