About this Event
This Community Sound Bath Session is part of Think Positive Club’s education-based Nervous System Reset Program, designed to support relaxation, emotional regulation, and mental well-being through accessible, science-informed practices.
This experience blends education, guided relaxation, and sound therapy to help participants understand how sound works on the nervous system — and then feel it in their bodies.
We’ll begin with a short, approachable discussion on the science of sound and vibration, including how rhythmic frequencies influence the brain through entrainment and support shifts into calm, restorative brainwave states (alpha and theta). This educational component empowers participants with knowledge they can use beyond the session — through sound, breath, or even their own voice.
From there, we’ll move into a guided meditation to help the body settle and release tension, followed by a full sound bath experience using traditional Himalayan singing bowls and gentle percussion instruments. Participants are invited to rest comfortably as sound supports the nervous system in shifting out of fight-or-flight and into rest-and-digest.
This is not about “doing” anything perfectly. It’s about allowing the body to receive, reset, and regulate.
