Music is one of the most powerful healing tools to carry us through hard times. Join us as we gather to honor the anniversary of Hurricane Helene with songs of Resiliency and Strength. Community song leaders, Lillie Lumina, Samara Jade, and Josh Fox will guide the group in a potent group singing experience to nourish the heart.
These songs are for everyone, regardless of singing experience. We sing songs that are relatively simple, easy to learn “call and response,” that bring us into our feeling bodies and a sense of interconnectedness. Rather than performing music, we share in the meditative practice of allowing music to move through the group field.
We will gather at Carrier Park near the Pavillion and begin singing at 11 am. Please bring what you will need to be comfortable outside.
Your voice is most welcome!
This event is free of charge.
