Join The People's Echo for our seasonal community song circle! We will come with songs for winter and the new year and welcome you to also come carrying songs that feel alive for you in this time.In a song circle, songs are taught call-and-echo style and are learned in the moment, sometimes with harmony, sometimes without. At our song circles, we welcome all sorts of singers and embrace imperfection—we step outside of societal singing norms, inviting folks to step into discomfort within a supportive singing space.
$20-30 suggested donation.

We are a volunteer-run organization, and have recently decided to start collecting donations so we can harness the beauty and inspiration of our Community Singing events to support organizations working towards liberation.
How these funds are used: We will donate 50% of the funds we collect to a different organization for every Song Circle we host. This month, our donations will go to The Heron's Nest. Located in Seattle’s Duwamish Greenbelt, The Heron's Nest is a community hub for learning, growth, and connection in nature. Established in 2020, it provides outdoor education, skill-building, and stewardship opportunities for all ages. As the first rematriation effort with the Duwamish Tribe, it supports their recognition and offers space for cultural practices, events, and gardening.
The other 50% of funds we collect are set aside to pay for spaces and compensate Guest Songleaders.
