During National Library Week and on National Library Workers Day, we’re gathering for a community screening of The Librarians. A powerful documentary that follows librarians across the country as they navigate book challenges, censorship, and mounting pressure simply for doing their jobs.
This film centers the people quietly holding the line for access, knowledge, and the freedom to read. It asks hard questions about who gets to decide what stories are available and what happens when public institutions become political battlegrounds.
Following the screening, we’ll hold space for a community conversation for those who want to stay, reflect, and listen together.
Tickets are donation-based, with 100% of proceeds going directly to support our local library.
Seating is intentionally limited to preserve a comfortable, respectful viewing experience. Tickets must be purchased in advance. This event is expected to sell out.
