Join the City of Great Falls Animal Shelter for a Community Remembrance Gathering in recognition of World Pet Memorial Day. This inclusive gathering will provide an opportunity for quiet reflection, remembrance, and honoring the pets who have touched our lives. 🌈🐾📅 Date: June 9, 2026
🕕 Time: 6:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Gibson Park Garden Archway – Great Falls, Montana
This event is part of Senior Office Clerk Tiffany Staigmiller’s Animal Chaplaincy Certification capstone project, focused on compassion, grief support, and supporting both the community and animal welfare professionals through moments of loss and remembrance.
Community members are also invited to participate in the Pet Memorial Tree throughout the month of May at the City of Great Falls Animal Shelter during regular shelter hours. Visitors may write the names of beloved pets on rainbow memorial tags and place them on the tree in their honor.
