Schaumburg's Community Recycling Event is taking place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 25 in the Wintrust Field West Lot, 1999 S. Springinsguth Rd.The drive-up event includes recycling opportunities for the following items:
- Electronics (some charges may apply)
- Document Destruction
- Water/Latex & Flammable Oil-Based Paint (some charges may apply)
- Clothing & Household Textiles
- Fire Extinguishers
- CFL Bulbs
- Motor Oil & Antifreeze
- Bicycles
- Books
- Batteries
- American Flags
Please note: The spring 2026 Cracker Barrel listed household chemicals as a recyclable item. Household chemicals will not be accepted at this event. Paint thinner, gas, and other hazardous waste will also not be accepted.
