Community Reading: Declaration of Independence
A Community Reading of the Declaration of Independence!
Join us on Saturday, July 4th at 12:00pm at the Kennebunk Town Hall Auditorium (1 Summer Street) for a community reading of the Declaration of Independence – 250 years after its writing!
The program will include community readers of the Declaration itself, and then set some context around “what happened next” and conclude with the Gettysburg Address, as read by beloved local history teacher Joe Foster.
Admission is FREE thanks to the support of Kennebunk Rotary and its partners Brick Store Museum and Historical Society of Wells & Ogunquit. Donations gratefully accepted in support of the Wounded Warrior Foundation.

Support for the Museum's "From Many, One" summer-long events series is generously provided by The Americana Foundation, The Maine Semiquincentennial Commission, and Kennebunk Savings Bank.
