On February 6 please join us for an evening of embodied presence and gentle ritual. Our intention is to create a warm, safe and welcoming community.We’ll begin with an opening circle and a few simple mindfulness practices to help us arrive. From there, we’ll move into a puja—a ritual practice that invites us into our bodies, into the present moment, and into seeing the sacred in ourselves and one another. The evening will then flow into a latihan: a slow, eyes-covered movement practice (eye masks provided) where we let go of stories, follow the music, and connect more deeply with ourselves and the shared field around us.
Doors open at 6:30pm
Opening circle begins at 7:00pm
Location: Hidden Temple, room 320 in the Bushworks arts and industry building, 221 Pine St Florence, MA
Cost: $20 (but no one is turned away if this is a hardship, pay what you can)
This is a non-sexual, clothes-on, consent-based movement and mindfulness experience and it is substance-free (drug- and alcohol-free) event.
