Celebrate the end of the season with a plant and seed swap for all ages. This drop-in event is first come, first served, and will have community members from all around visiting the library to share garden seeds, houseplants and outdoor plants with one another. Share your love of gardening and plants and meet local gardeners!
Our ground rules are:
•Seeds or plants must be in good shape – no damaged, sick, or buggy plants if possible.
•Please do not bring plants and seeds that are invasive or dangerous (example: no kudzu please!).
•No one is required to bring plants or seeds to take something home.
•We ask attendees to be respectful and take only plants and seeds for your own use – please invite friends who are interested in plants and gardening to attend!
•Unclaimed plants and seeds will be made available to library visitors at the end of the program.
Community resources on gardening will also be on hand for folks with questions. This event is free of cost and open to the public.
