Scouts America Unit 314 will be hosting a Community Pinewood Derby Fundraiser on February 22nd from 11am - 3pm. Car check ins will be from 9:30-10:45! No touching the cars after checking them in!We will have a maker/bake sale for items the scouts have made as well as fun games/activities. There will be local vendors and food trucks available!
This is a fundraiser to help the scouts pay for summer camp and other fun scouting adventures!
Car kit and a race registration is $17
Race registration is $10, if you want to use a car you've already made.
We are hosting two different races, BSA Rules and Outlaw.
The BSA Rules race will follow the BSA Pinewood derby rules found here: https://www.scoutshop.org/pwd-rules .
For the outlaw race, the only rules are that the width shall not exceed 2-3/4 inches, and it cannot damage the track or interfere with other cars.
