CPR is leading the "pack" for our first community pack walk of the new year! Some of our adoptable dogs will be in attendance and all breeds are encouraged to join. Use these walks to socialize your dogs, get your steps in for the day, or even scope out a new friend for your existing pup. These walks are on the last Sunday of the month, in different locations throughout Oakland and beyond. This month, we'll be exploring further south into the city of Fremont. Join us to walk around beautiful Lake Elizabeth.
MEETING SPOT: We'll meet to the right of the Central Park Dog Park (on the grass, please don't stand in the parking lot) and proceed walking around Lake Elizabeth. The dog park is located off Stevenson Blvd. between Civic Center and Guardino Drives. This pack walk is approximately 2.5 miles, walking a complete loop around the lake. Please bring water for you & your pups. We may even walk twice around the lake this time, if you're up for it!
These events are free to the public. Please be respectful of other dogs' space and ask before you let your dog greet another dog. Please bring poop bags to clean up after your pooch, as well as water and sunblock. Please have your dog on the leash 6ft or less, and no flexi-leads. One dog per handler.
