We’re heading out to love our city in action — right between the Deluxe Motel and Brisas Del Mar Latino Market on Route 1. We’ll be grilling food, handing out coats, hats, and gloves, sharing testimonies, and praying with our unsheltered neighbors.
This is what being the Church looks like — showing up, serving, and shining light where it’s needed most. 💛
👉 Volunteers meet at Awaken Church RVA (3800 Deepwater Terminal Rd, RVA 23234) at 2:30 PM. We’ll ride together in church vans (carpooling to save space) and set up by 3:30 PM.
Outreach will wrap up around 5:30 PM.
We need volunteers to help with:
🍔 Grilling & serving food
🧥 Handing out coats, hats & gloves
🙏 Building relationships, praying, and encouraging those who come
🧒 Childcare available at the church for 5th grade and under.
👦 Youth (6th–12th) are invited to join if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
