In celebration of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) we will be creating a community Oferenda. In Mexico, Día Muertos is one big fiesta lasting days where we celebrate our departed loved ones. As we honor this part of culture the Duluth Public Library will host a community Oferenda (October 17 to November 4) where you can go in and place pictures of your departed loved ones in remembrance. Staff will be available at the Reference Desk to help with making a photocopy and placing your photos.
The Community Oferenda is located on the second floor of the Main Library in the gallery space.
