Join us to celebrate the unveiling of a new public mural in Brucklacher Memorial Park!
Completed entirely by the hands of our local community, this mural honors the people, history, and enduring legacy of Hancock County. Hidden symbols can be found throughout the artwork that reflects our community's heritage and tells the stories that shape us. This celebration is free, open to the public, and involves interactive experiences for visitors of all ages.
The event will include:
- Complimentary refreshments
- A designated photo opportunity
- A visual scavenger hunt of the artwork with accompanying educational materials
- A tour of the Museum's historic Little Red Schoolhouse following the ceremony
Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to Brucklacher Memorial Park and discover the story of Hancock County! The unveiling ceremony will take place on Sunday, July 19, at 1:00 p.m.
This unique artwork was created as part of the America 250 celebration, in collaboration with the Hancock Historical Museum, Awakening Minds Art, Visit Findlay, and Kiwanis, with generous funding provided by the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation.
