About this Event

The Shenandoah Valley faces increasing mental health needs, as seen across Virginia and the nation, including a rising prevalence of mental health conditions, provider shortages, and increasing youth mental health concerns. Awareness of these issues and knowledge of community supports are essential to reduce stigma and ensure people know when and where to turn for help.

Our Goal: To communicate broadly through the community about mental health and the diverse resources available to support people in their wellness and recovery.

Leading Organizations: Shenandoah University, Valley Health, Virginia Department of Health, & You’re Not Alone Ministry

Other Participants & Presenters: Community organizations, mental health supports, local school systems, and more will share their experiences, expertise, and successes through multiple panel discussions and presentations.
