Community Memorial Service & Live Butterfly Release

Good Shepherd Health Care System invites our communities to attend a Community Memorial Service & Live Butterfly Release on Saturday, September 12, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Bennett Botanical Gardens located at 32632 E Punkin Center Rd in Hermiston, OR.
This is a special event meant to honor all those that have passed away in our communities and remember them with a live butterfly release ceremony brought to you by Good Shepherd's Vange John Memorial Hospice team. Enjoy live Entertainment, complimentary charcutier boards and heavy hors d'oeuvres by Castle Event Catering, while participating in a silent auction with several butterfly-themed art works from vendors across the Pacific Northwest. Many butterfly-themed gifts are available for purchase, including butterfly kites, adult and child butterfly capes, headbands, and butterfly-friendly flower seed packets.
All proceeds go to Good Shepherd's Vange John Memorial Hospice in support of bereavement, resources and more for Hospice families.
For a fee ($15 or more), pre-registrants may receive one live butterfly (or more) to release in honor of their loved one(s). Register for your live butterfly(ies) by visiting
