Bad news: American Tower Company’s attorney has a sudden “scheduling conflict” and has postponed their appearance at the Pike Township Residents Association Meeting until January 14th - that’s the day before our Zoning Public Hearing. Good news: We still have the venue booked for this Wednesday and this meeting will now be convened by Protect Pike Township. We have urgent issues impacting our forests, water and neighbors and Protect Pike Township will still be meeting this Wednesday, December 10 at 7 PM at the New Augusta North Public Academy in the Auditorium!
☎️ We are going to reach out to ATC’s representatives to see if someone can be available to join us virtually for the meeting to discuss ATC’s proposed data center in our neighborhoods and forest.
🚨 Urgent action is also required regarding Citizens Energy’s plans to break ground on a water pipeline in the Eagle Creek area early in early 2026. This massive pipeline could impact our drinking water and Eagle Creek as Citizens Energy will siphon millions of gallons of water each day to supply water to the LEAP industrial manufacturing site, and may construct pipes to discharge the wastewater from that site. So far Citizens Energy has not convened a public meeting in 2025 about this issue, and impacted residents nor the broader community have had no forum to ask the company questions about this project.
