You said yes to investing in Las Cruces, and now we want to hear from you.
In November 2024, voters approved a 0.325 percent Gross Receipts Tax (GRT) increase to fund critical projects that strengthen our community, including public safety, parks, streets, and other vital infrastructure. Now it is time to decide together how these funds should be used.
📍 District 4 residents are invited to a community meeting on Monday, October 7, at 6 pm at MacArthur Elementary School, 655 4th St.
Your ideas will help City Council set priorities for capital improvement projects in the years ahead.
After the community meetings, City staff will share input with City Council at a Work Session on October 27, 2025. Later this year, Council will adopt a resolution directing how the GRT Capital Improvements Fund will be spent.
