You’re invited to a Community Meeting with Citizens Energy and Lebanon Utilities to learn and ask questions about the LEAP Lebanon Water Supply Program (infrastructure project). Citizens Energy is planning to siphon millions of gallons of water every day from our local drinking water reservoirs and Eagle Creek Reservoir to provide water to the LEAP industrial site in Lebanon, IN. At the LEAP site META's data center would reportedly use as much as 8 million gallons of water every day. Lebanon Utilities is handling the treatment of the LEAP wastewater; as much as 100 million gallons of treated wastewater from the LEAP industrial site would be returned to Eagle Creek every week. This discharge would occur in an area the National Audubon refers to as an Important Bird Area, and the Indiana Audubon Board of Directors has voted to oppose to this plan. This meeting is being organized by our partners with Protect Pike Township.- Doors open at 6:30 and the program begins at 7:00 PM
