Join UpcycleCHQ and the Climate Change Initiative of Chautauqua Institution for a Community Material Exchange at Bestor Plaza.
Bring clean, reusable materials that could be useful to someone else, and discover materials you can use for your own creative, repair, gardening, educational, or upcycling projects.
Examples include fabric scraps, denim, yarn, buttons, sewing supplies, craft materials, jars, containers, art supplies, garden materials, and other reusable items.
Please bring materials that are reasonably easy to carry, as participants may need to walk materials to and from the event location within Chautauqua Institution.
And also take home materials you brought that are not claimed at the end of the material exchange.
This is also a great opportunity to meet local makers, artists, gardeners, repairers, educators, and community members who believe in sharing resources, reducing waste, and giving materials a second life.
