Hi everyone. I wanted to let you all know about an overnight independent living skills (ILS) retreat that I developed called The Launch Lodge. It’s for teens and young adult females who want to improve ILS while enjoying socialization and recreation. This summer’s program will take place in Lewes De from July 21 to 26. I’m a clinical psychologist specializing in working with special needs families and I have a neurodivergent daughter who inspired me to build this program. The Launch Lodge retreat will provide individualization to meet the participants specific needs and goals in a community setting . There is a participant/counselor ratio of 2:1 and the counselors will be adult professionals with special needs experience. We still have space for a couple girls. We have gotten donations and can help with funding as well (if needed). This is our first year but The Launch Lodge will be a reoccurring program.
