We are meeting outside Hamworthy Library for a community litter pick and gardening. Saturday 13th June, 10.00am - 11.30ish. Equipment is provided. Suitable for accompanied children.
This time, we are heading down to Hamworthy Park. We will litter pick along the way, and then split into gardeners and litter pickers.
- The gardeners are going to give the bed by the main park gate a good once-over. It needs weeding and new plants putting in.
- The litter pickers are going to get stuck in to litter picking the park. Now the sunnier weather has arrived, the park could do with a bit of extra help to keep it clean and tidy.
Volunteers are invited for tea, coffee, biscuits, squash and chat afterwards at the library.
Please RSPV so we can make sure we've got enough biscuits! 🍪🍪🍪
