Traditional Juneteenth Celebration featuring soul and gospel by songstress, "Pearl" poetry and spoken word, the story of Juneteenth and it's origin and meaning deeply connected communities of faith, complete with a reading of the Emancipation Proclamation and the joyful singing of "Lift Every Voice and Sing"
A reception with historical Juneteenth beverages and treats from local Black/African-American-owned businesses will be available after the presentation!
