You're invited to join us for our first community hymn sing and potluck picnic on the lawn on Sunday, August 24 at 5:00 p.m. The event will begin in the historic sanctuary with a time of singing familiar and new hymns covering many decades, and immediately after attendees will move to the church lawn for a potluck picnic and time of conversation and fellowship. In the event of inclement weather the meal will be moved into the Parish Hall.
No advance registration is required, and the event is free and open to the public. Those who attend are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share. The church will provide the main course (options will be available for those with gluten, vegetarian, or Alpha-GAL considerations) and drinks. Attendees are also invited to send in suggestions for their favorite hymns in advance; the church's music director will also have a number of pieces selected.
