The South Carolina Department on Aging will host a Community Health Event on January 8, 2026, at 280 Recreation Lane, Walterboro, SC 29488 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.This event is open to the public. Participants will be able to collect free emergency materials, emergency kits (supplies limited), and speak with organizations about preparing for emergencies. Various state and local organizations will be on hand to present information.
