Community Healing Conversation: Growing Community - Library Series 3

The St. Petersburg Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation Center would like to cordially invite you to join us for a Community Healing Conversation on Monday, June 29, 2026 from 5:30 -7 pm at the James Weldon Johnson Community Library for an evening of healing and transformative dialogue!

Over light refreshments and light food, we will create a caring environment where empathy is allowed to flourish and people from all walks of life can engage in conversations about race and personal experience. Trained facilitators lead a session consisting of both group interactions and smaller, more intimate conversations between two participants, and are responsible for helping to ensure a confidential safe space for participants to have truthful conversations with one another. Our theme for this conversation is "Growing Community" focused on changing neighborhoods, historic displacement and overall well-being.
