Andrew Lawrence's "Community Guitar" classes focus on the songs and skills that prepare guitarists for informal, unscripted music-making together. In addition to offering Community Guitar classes at Bombyx this year, Andrew will be hosting open jam sessions for his students and anyone else who'd like to pick a tune.
Join him and other guitarists for just that. You are welcome to come play, or just watch and listen. We have access to two beautiful rooms at Bombyx from 11 to 1. We play a variety of musical styles, most of which fall under the broad umbrella of acoustic "Americana". Players of other instruments -- bass, mandolin, fiddle, etc. -- are welcome. There's no charge for the jam, but we'll gratefully accept donations to cover our rental cost.
Join us for sessions January 24, February 28, March 21, and April 26.
