The Community Growing and Food Network, facilitated by Durham Community Action, brings together like-minded organisations with projects or an interest in growing and food. It provides an opportunity for community groups and organisations from all sectors with similar visions to connect, communicate and collaborate, supporting one another and sharing good practice.
Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday 14th July from 10.00 – 12.00pm at REfUSE Cafe, 143c Front Street, Chester le Street, DH3 3AU.
The theme for this meeting is The Power of Local Food Systems, where we will explore the new Good Food Durham Promise with time for networking with other food organisations across County Durham.
The speakers are Dr Kelly Rose, RNutr – Public Health Advanced Practitioner, and Susan Fern – Healthy Communities Project Lead, Durham Community Action.
If you have any further questions or queries before booking, please do not hesitate to get in touch by emailing [email protected]
