About this Event
Grief is not something to fix or rush through. It’s something to be held.
This donation-based community grief ritual offers a supportive space to slow down and be with what you’re carrying. Together, we’ll build a shared altar, move through a guided meditation, and gather in a facilitated sharing circle rooted in presence.
This is a space for grief in all its forms — personal loss, endings, transitions, and collective sorrow. You’re welcome to share, listen, or simply be held by the room.
Come as you are. Leave with a little more space to breathe.
About your facilitator
Dr. Teresa Hooker is a clinical psychologist, meditative movement facilitator, and advocate for deep, integrative healing of mind, body, and soul. With over 20 years of experience, Teresa brings together depth psychology, somatic practices, and an honoring of each individual’s spiritual worldview to support healing that is meaningful, embodied, and grounded in personal integrity. Her work invites clients into a process of expansion and deepening—of finding coherence between inner truth, lived experience, and the stories the body holds.
Teresa’s approach is rooted in the belief that healing and transformation are lifelong processes, nurtured by compassion, a loving relationship with self, others, and the earth, and the cultivation of deep personal meaning. She supports clients in attuning to the subtle language of the nervous system and the emotional narratives stored in the body, offering a relational field that is safe, attuned, and alive with possibility. Through somatic practices, authentic connection, and deep listening, she helps individuals reclaim wholeness, vitality, and a felt sense of belonging to themselves and the world. In addition to her private practice, Teresa facilitates immersive workshops that bring the heart of transformative psychotherapy into collective, embodied spaces. Her signature offering, Centering Dance, is a meditative movement practice that supports emotional and somatic integration through presence, creativity, and shared experience. Her work is grounded in the understanding that healing is not a private pursuit but a collective unfolding, inseparable from the well-being of our communities, our cultural histories, and the living earth.
