We are excited to launch the first edition of our Community Market, created in collaboration with the Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq advocacy group.The event will take place on Sunday 19 April, and brings together a range of local organisations and producers with a shared focus on nature, community, and sustainability.
Alongside FAA’s plant stall, visitors will find native saplings from ACT NGO, a stand by the Foundation for the Conservation of the Maltese Honey Bee, and locally grown vegetables and produce from The Veg Box. The market is designed to support local growers while also creating a space where people can learn more about Malta’s natural environment.
There will also be activities for children, as well as practical planting and gardening advice for anyone interested in growing their own plants at home. With good food and a relaxed atmosphere, the morning is intended as a simple way for the community to come together.
This is the first edition of what we hope will become a regular event.
Join us between 9am and 2pm and be part of this new initiative.
