We will be gathering on the grounds of the Legislative Assembly in support of 2 spirit, trans, and gender diverse (2STGD) youth.
We have seen a rise in hate directed at the trans community, especially trans youth. We will be showing our youth that we care about them, and will continue to fight for their rights.
There will be speakers, music, poetry, lawn games, community art projects, and community vendors, etc.
Bring your art projects, your picnic lunch, and your signs!
Tentative schedule:
8-12: Begin gathering and find a spot on the lawn. Poetry and other activities
12-1 PM: Speakers
1 PM -3/4 PM: Music and fun
We'll have lawn games and art projects through the day! Some organizations will have resource tables set up.
