Winter Prep Party: Community Garden Tidy-Up!It's time to tuck our community garden in for the winter! Join us for a special November tidy-up as we prepare our shared green space for the colder months. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just want to lend a hand, every bit of effort helps keep our garden healthy and beautiful.
It's a fantastic chance to get some fresh air, meet your neighbours, and help ensure our vibrant space bounces back strong in the spring.
What We'll Be Doing:
Clearing and Composting: Removing old annuals, cutting back perennials, and tidying up beds.
Insulating: Mulching beds to protect roots from the winter chill.
Path & Tool Clean-up: Sweeping pathways and cleaning and storing tools.
Making the whole garden winter-ready!
Details
No experience is needed! Just bring your enthusiasm and maybe some warm gardening gloves. We'll have all the necessary tools and warm refreshments ready for you.
Date: Friday 7th November
Time: Anytime between 9:00 AM and 12:00 noon
Location: ELM Community Centre and Well-being Hub, Near ASDA, Leypark Drive, Estover
