About this Event
Would you love to garden but don’t have the space? We’ve got you covered with our monthly Community Garden Day. We also have plot leases for individuals to enjoy growing their own food. Plus, there’s opportunities to volunteer on weekly basis to help with watering and weeding.
Let’s enjoy spending time outdoors! Briarpatch Community Garden depends on our help to flourish. There’s no better time to get your hands dirty. We will be tending to the garden. Caring for the plants and creating a beautiful space together.
No experience? No worries! We’re all about having fun in the sun. Plenty of opportunities to learn about growing food, medicine plants, fruit trees and cultivating the land.
Tools, gloves and bottled water available. Weather pending, a little rain’s okay. Great location, bus stop 04 / 07 is right across the street.

Cancellation, late & no-show policy: Due to excessive no-shows, serious attendees only. Be courteous & respectful of everyones time, efforts and garden goals. No shows and late arrivals negatively impact garden programs. Punctuality is important for the facilitator and rest of the team. Please give as much cancellation notice as possible, 48-72 hours minimum prior to event. Thank you!
