What if no one in Haywood County had to live, grieve, or die alone?That's not a distant dream, it's something we're actively building together and we want you at the table.
Join Heartfelt Haywood for an intimate community dinner conversation on Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 5:30–7:00pm, where we'll be talking openly about one of the most important questions our community faces: What happens when someone reaches the end of life with no one to care for them?
We'll be exploring Comfort Homes, a community-powered model of end-of-life care that's been changing lives across the country. Think of it like this: neighbors organizing to show up for neighbors. Not a facility. Not a clinical setting. A home; warm, dignified, and held by the people who live and love in this community.
The Omega Home Network has been leading this movement nationally, and Heartfelt Haywood's team leaders will walk us through what this could actually look like right here in Haywood County.
This evening is for people who believe that how we care for one another at the end of life says everything about who we are as a community. Whether you're a caregiver, a neighbor, a healthcare worker, or someone who simply wants Haywood County to be a place where no one is forgotten, there's a seat at this table for you.
Dinner is on us. Spots are limited to 40 people.
