A community food garden is coming to Donnington! Join us to help fill the new planters with a variety of herbs, vegetables and fruits!
About this Event

Donnington Tenants and Residents Association, Earthwatch Europe and Oxford City Council are supporting the creation of a new community food growing space. On Friday 17 April 2026 we will be planting a number of herbs, vegetables and fruits, creating a thriving, biodiverse food garden, and we'd love for you to join us. This event is FREE and open to everyone!

Date and Time: Friday 17th April, 10.30am - 12.30pm. Plants may run out quickly so arrive towards the start to avoid disappointment!

Location: Next to Donnington Doorstep, Townsend Square, Oxford, OX4 4BB

What to bring: We will be outdoors, so check the weather beforehand and dress accordingly, and if you have some gloves please bring those!

Food and drink will be available at the Donnington Doorstep Community Cafe.

Getting here: We recommend using public transport. The number 16 bus drops off on Donnington Bridge Road, and the nearest stop for the number 3 bus is on Iffley Road near Freelands Road.
