Join us for a Community Fire Jam this September, 21st!
We'll be honoring the end of summer and the coming of fall on the autumn equinox - spinning fire just feels right.
***Please read the entire invite if you plan to burn.***
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Community Fire Jams offer an opportunity for fire spinners of all skill levels to practice and play with fire in a safe and supportive environment. Not feeling up to spinning fire yourself? Come watch or play with LED or day props outside the fire circle!
Everyone who spins fire needs to register and complete orientation one time per calendar year. If you spun fire with us at Northwest Flow Fest in July, you're hot to trot!
If you're not registered yet, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE REGISTERED BY 9/13/24!
**REGISTER HERE!!** https://forms.gle/bkijYX2K31Gvq92f7
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
***Be sure to read the entire event description if you plan to burn!***

Seattle Flow Arts Collective is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting community art and artists. Your financial support is deeply appreciated and helps us keep these fires fueled - literally. We believe artistic expression should be available to all, which is why all of the events we produce are donation based and free to attend.
Suggested donation is $5-35.
Donations can be sent via PayPal at https://paypal.me/seattleflowarts, via our donation page at www.seattleflowarts.org/donate, or in person using Venmo or cash.

IF YOU PLAN TO SPIN FIRE:
*Register in advance: Registration is required once per calendar year by the Fire Department. You must register at least 7 days prior to the event (this means by Friday, September 13th). This is required by the Fire Department for our permit so there is no wiggle room. We can’t let you spin if you don’t sign up!
REGISTRATION LINK HERE: https://forms.gle/bkijYX2K31Gvq92f7
Orientation: We ask that everyone who burns completes our fire safety & event orientation once per calendar year. We will host orientation multiple times throughout the night, including at 6:45, 7:30, and 8:30 at this event!
Volunteer: We need your help to keep the show running! When you check in at the front desk on the day of the event, you’ll be asked to pick a 30 minute volunteer shift with either the Sign-in Desk, Fuel Depot, Fire Safety, or Set-up/Tear-down Crew. Thank you in advance for supporting your community in this way! ❤
Dress to Impress… And Not Catch on Fire: Make sure to wear natural fibers or fire retardant treated clothing. Cotton, leather, & denim are all safe bets. Leave the synthetics, feathers, and fur at home. Spin barefoot at your own risk!
