✨ THEME: What happened to Romantic Comedies? ✨RomCom's are classic cinema and a constant presence through the 80's, 90's and early 2000's. Yet, in the past few years it feels like there are less and less romantic comedies to go out and see. Why is that?
Come on out and connect with your fellow film lovers! We will talk about our favorite classics, the newer styles of romantic comedies and everything in between! Do you prefer the fairytale story of Pretty Women? or the bittersweet heartache of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? Who was really the villain in 500 Days of Summer? Let's discuss!

Community Film Club is presented by Marquee Arts and Hear.Say Brewing co to re-introduce a regular open forum event to discuss films and topical movies. The staff of the Michigan Theater will regularly attend the film club meetings to connect with the community over our shared love of film! This will take place monthly on Mondays at Hear.Say brewing located at 2350 W liberty St, Ann Arbor, MI. Hear.say offers craft beer and food truck service as well as a dog friendly beer garden, bring your pup along!
