The San Juan College (SJC) Native American Center (NAC) invites the community to its first-ever Native-inspired Community Fashion Show on Wednesday, November 5, at 6 p.m., in the Henderson Fine Arts Center Performance Hall. The event is free and open to the public. In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, the show will feature five to eight Native-inspired or Native-designed collections, with each designer presenting a 10- to 15-minute showcase of their work. The event highlights the creativity, culture and artistry of designers, offering a powerful platform for fashion as a form of storytelling and cultural expression.
The Native American Center is currently seeking designers interested in participating. Designers are encouraged to share their unique vision and style while honoring Native influences in their work. Applications are due on October 22.
For more information or to obtain an application form, please contact the SJC Native American Center by phone 505-566-3321 or email [email protected].
